Standing as one of the main villages in the area, Sivota is dubbed as the “Caribbean of Greece” and celebrated for its exotic beauty. With a waterfront location and picturesque alleys and architecture, the neighbouring to the hotel, Parga town, is a cosmopolitan charming village offering a host of restaurants and bars in which to soak up the local culture. Parga Castle commands views across the village and beyond. Built in the 14th Century it’s enjoyed a rich history and is a must-see local attraction.
Meanwhile, there are many things to places to wander around in the Region. The ancient settlement of Vrachonas and the ruins of the castle at Polyneri are standout attractions to visit, as are the Archaeological Site of Nikopolis, the Necromateion of Acheron, and the villages of Souli and Kougki. And, of course, travelers can always catch a boat from either Parga or Sivota in visiting the islands of Paxi and Antipaxi for a pleasant day trip.
