Sister property to Nido (and equally stylish), MarBella is on the shores of Agios Ioannis Peristeron, on the island’s south-east and a half an hour drive from Corfu Town. Landscaped gardens are set on the edge of the Ionian Sea, the hotel has its own beach and water park, and there are no fewer than 10 restaurants and bars to work through.

If you are after a restorative coastal retreat, book a room at Nido Suite Hotel on the southeast coast of Corfu—it’s adults only (for guaranteed peace and quiet) and situated on a tree-clad hillside that slopes down to the idyllic beach.
