Having opened our doors to the Corfu Garden Festival last year, we’re delighted to be participating once again with a number of activities at both MarBella and Nido. The island of Corfu has an international reputation as one of the most beautiful Greek islands. It has been called ‘The Garden of the Gods’ and is a destination for those who love gardens. During the Festival, many of the island’s gardens open for a day, offering a unique chance to explore their beauty and celebrate the spirit of community.

Join us to explore MarBella’s beautifully landscaped gardens with our gardening team, who’ll tell you about the design, plants, choice of colours, and how they create harmony with the surrounding landscape. You’ll be amazed at what it takes to keep our gardens looking just right all season long.

Pop-up Photography Exhibition

Featuring the work of British floral and garden photographer Sophie Dolder, enjoy the chance to see the stunning images she’s captured on her travels all over the island. You’ll find these delightful photos on the big walls by the Belvedere bar at MarBella.

Cyanotype workshop

Discover the beautiful art of cyanotype printing, one of the oldest photographic processes. From preparing the light-sensitive solution to developing the striking silhouettes, this fun session leads you through the camera-less process step by step and is perfect for beginners.

Notre head gardener will also be happy to explain more about the plants used in this session and take you on a tour of the picturesque gardens à Nido’s herb garden to pick your own botanicals for the workshop.
